2021 has been a year of development, growth and opportunity for Off The Lane. Between all of our programming, workshops and events we have been a resource for over 380 artists! Our hearts are so full.

This inaugural year for the Ann Reinking Scholarship Program has been near and dear to our hearts here at Off The Lane. It has been a true honor to collaborate with those that loved and admired Annie developing this program from the ground up. The extremely talented Vivianna DeSantiago was announced as the first scholarship winner at our annual Empower Artists Gala in November! It was a special intimate evening filled with such passion and love.
We celebrated ONE year of BOOST in September! We’ve guided numerous blossoming artists through the challenges of this past year. Through one-on-one sessions, as well as our special networking event BOOST Banters, each BOOSTer has been assigned goals in order to improve their career accountability, confidence, and trajectory.
We accept applications on a rolling basis, and we’re currently expanding our program. We’re looking to accept more BOOSTers – which means we’re also accepting applications for BOOST Advisors! GET INVOLVED
We have had a whopping 79 Mentees enter our Mentorship Program in the past 2 years! It has been so exciting to see the growth of the program. It was been so wonderful to welcome mentees as they first arrive in NYC to pursue their dreams and live the city life. Our Mentees are experiencing theatre, working on their own projects and navigating the city like real professionals. We are accepting applications for the Spring Session! LEARN MORE.
We are so grateful for our amazing Mentors who are not only extremely talented but generous with their time and wisdom! Off The Lane’s School Partnership Program is designed as an extension to your artistic community, creative arts faculty and curriculum. Our Speaker Series Program is a great way for the creative community to gain access to notable leaders across multiple industries. This year we hosted two virtual workshops and one in-person event. Continued Education is a strong part of our mission at Off The Lane and we look forward producing more Speaker Series events in 2022. Stay tuned for upcoming dates. Annie’s Joy Candle has been inspired and created to honor the legacy of Ann Reinking; her talent, her heart, and her passion for mentoring. Developed by Annie’s loved ones in collaboration with Timothy Jay Candles. 75% of the proceeds go towards the Ann Reinking Scholarship Program!
