Miranda Stuck is a professional dancer from Seattle, Washington and currently resides in New York City.
Prior to graduating from the Ailey/Fordham Bachelor of Fine Arts program, Miranda trained classically at Pacific Northwest Ballet School.
She currently dances with Eryc Taylor Dance and apprentices with Stubborn MVMT.
As a freelance artist, Miranda has previously danced with Alison Cook Beatty Dance, Matthew Westerby Company and Buglisi Dance Theatre.
She has also had the pleasure of dancing backup in a music video for rap artist Luis D and performed in Marc Jacobs Fall 2020 New York Fashion Week closing runway show.
As a choreographer, Miranda has commissioned two works with New Work Series at the TADA! Theatre in Flatiron District, one work with Alpha Omega Dance Theatre’s Studio to Stage festival, a solo work with Mark DeGarmo Virtual International Dance Festival and Cross Move Lab curated by Guanglei Hui.
While dancing within the professional division at The Ailey School, Miranda has danced on scholarship at Perry-Mansfield and Paul Taylor American Modern Dance and was invited to train with EMERGE 125, Ballet Hispánico Choreography Lab, and Visceral Dance Chicago.
She has worked closely with choreographers including Gabrielle Lamb, William Isaac, Karole Armitage, Earl Mosley, Nicholas Garr, Jacqulyn Buglisi, Olga Kostritzky, Kyle Marshall, and Devalois Fearon.
Miranda is extremely passionate about performing arts, visual and digital arts, chronic illness advocacy, as well as genuine human connection.
In BOOST, she worked on balancing her blossoming dance career with making her physical health a priority.
She runs the chronic illness advocacy page @undefinedbypots to help support and validate others.
