BOOST, a program that’s been called “career therapy,” is in its 5th year of operation. Through one-on-one sessions with Co-Chairs Jillian Vitko and Ayana Bey, BOOSTers identify and achieve career goals.
This year, we had two incredible BOOSTers complete the program. Annaleise worked on finding producing and directing work that aligned with her artistic values, and Tameishia worked on taking more concrete steps towards her vision.
We also offered the first ever BOOST Workshop, Creative Versatility: How to Develop your Own Artistic Ecosystem in NYC. Those in attendance were able to get some insight into the BOOST Program by asking the Co-Chairs questions and getting specific career advice. We hope to bring the workshop to other locations in 2025.
Next year, we’ll be making some changes to the BOOST Program for an even better experience, so stay tuned!
