A ColLab Staged Reading: The Laundry Play by Sarah Groustra

February 10 @ 7:00 pm 10:00 pm

Off The Lane’s ColLab program presents a new community event series, developed to present staged readings of new, independent theatre with *unexpected* twists: The ColLab Staged Reading Series!

The ColLab Staged Reading Series launch on February 10th will present Sarah Groustra’s THE LAUNDRY PLAY, directed by Rachel Sabo-Hedges. Join us this Valentine’s Week for a play about romantic reconnection and reconciliation.

THE LAUNDRY PLAY summary: “David is a museum curator whose panic attacks have gone untreated for years. When he considers taking a job that will move him halfway across the country, this comes as a shock to his girlfriend, Eliza. Told largely through both characters’ conversations with a therapist, The Laundry Play paints a portrait of a relationship on the verge of either connection or collapse, and the emotional landscape of intimacy with clinical anxiety.”

Alcoholic/Non-Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the event! All proceeds will go towards supporting future OTL artists/productions.

The event will take place at the OTL performance loft in Chelsea, NYC –

Address: Meaux Space, 305 7th Ave Fl 17, New York, NY 10001
