Two weeks left to apply for The Mentorship Program!
Since launching in 2020, we have mentored over 90 young artists. This year, we can’t wait to reach 100!
Our Mentees are typically college seniors, motivated juniors, or early career professionals who plan to move to NYC to pursue a career in arts and entertainment.
Finishing up school, moving to a new city, and pursuing a career in the arts is daunting. There are few programs that help artists find their way as they transition from student to working professional. Every single Mentor, Board Member and Co-Chair that are involved with Off The Lane wish something like this existed when they made the move to NYC.
Through The Mentorship Program, young artists are matched with a Mentor who will help them navigate the next stage of their careers. From how to do your taxes in a gig economy, to working the NYC housing market, and how to stay afloat between jobs, our Mentors have been there and are here to help.
Off The Lane strives to make Mentorship as accessible as possible. The program is completely free and one-on-one sessions with your Mentor are virtual, allowing artists from all over the world to participate. Sessions are also held once a week and are flexible based on your schedule.
Interested in being a Mentee? You can apply for the Spring 2023 session now until February 1st.
