Audition Workshop with Brandon Ford Green

Join us for our first ever FREE audition workshop led by Brandon Ford Green, an actor, writer and director with 20 years in the business.
Everyone will receive sides to work on 2-3 days ahead of time, reflecting what it’s like in an actual casting office environment. During this 3-hour class, you’ll work on skills such as uncovering clues in the text to create fuller characters, how to research the role and project you’re auditioning for, and how to tailor your strengths to your role.
Space is limited to 15 people. RSVP early!
ABOUT BRANDON:
BRANDON FORD GREEN is a bicoastal actor/writer/director with over 20 years in the business. He’s the award-winning director of the independent feature film GOOD GRIEF which not only received official selection at many film festivals across the country but also won the Audience Choice Award at the Laughlin International Film Festival for Best Feature and won Best Director at the Harlem International Film Festival. As an actor, he trained at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Central California, Second City in Hollywood and The Barrow Group in New York City. Some of his on-screen credits include AND JUST LIKE THAT…, FOR ALL MANKIND, CONFESSION, EVIL, THE WALLS ARE WATCHING, LAW & ORDER, THE HOLIDAY FIX UP, HIGH FIDELITY, EPISODES, THIS IS US, CSI: CYBER, AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., GREY’S ANATOMY, CRIMINAL MINDS, MONK, 24 and GILMORE GIRLS. Most notably he played comedy legend Richard Pryor on the Showtime series I’M DYING UP HERE.
In casting, he’s worked on many film, television and Broadway productions including THEATRE- MJ, TITANIQUE, HERE WE ARE, BEETLEJUICE, WICKED, CAMELOT, PRETTY WOMAN, BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, THE COLOR PURPLE, ROCK OF AGES. FILM/TV: MOANA, CITY ON A HILL, A MOST VIOLENT YEAR, DAN IN REAL LIFE, ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, RENT.
He’s worked with many talented and award-winning actors including Melissa Leo, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Patricia Arquette, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matt LeBlanc, Timothy Olyphant, Zoe Kravitz, Christian Slater, Tony Shalhoub, Christina Applegate, Kiefer Sutherland, James Spader and Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
After many years in Los Angeles, Brandon now resides in Brooklyn, New York.
