Alex Frei is a performer, teacher and choreographer who trained in Germany, the Netherlands and at the Ailey school NYC. He was a soloist with companies such as Ballet Theater Munich and Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal and he has been a cast member of several musical theatre productions all over Europe. He was the “Spirit of Fosse” as well as assistant dance captain in the original companies of the musical CHICAGO in Germany, Denmark and France. The latter one, re-choreographed by Ann Reinking.
Alex is now based in Germany, where he works as assistant choreographer and rehearsal director at the Gärtnerplatz Theater in Munich and teaches Broadway repertoire and modern dance at the Theater Akademie August Everding.
