Founder, Barb Salzman’s started her creative career at Anthropologie as a Visual Manager and part of the store opening traveling team. Hatch Creative Studio was dreamt up 4 years later and has lived up to its name. Along with her incredible team, Barb become a sought after name in brand activations, events and wedding design. Honored to have been voted Best Floral Designer for 4 years in a row, Best of Weddings Hall Of Fame to Top 10 Most Inspiring People by The Knot. Barb also designed and co-produced winning the former Guinness World Record for the longest picnic table for Hellmann’s Mayonaise 100th Anniversary.

Barbs most recent venture, has her going back to her retail roots with her own shop, Hatch General Store. Originally created as an online store and having made its way on to Free People Mart, its current manifestation is an eclectic and inspiring antique booth in the Catskills. You can currently find Hatch General Store at Red Owl Collective in Kingston, NY where Barb is working to spread peace and love through a curated and Hatch-made collection of inspired goods.
